Thomas E. Kiser

Thomas E. Kiser, Chairman, CEO and founder of PSI, is a man with a mission. He is motivated by a passion to change the way the world thinks about energy use and to find new ways to better balance the energy needs of mankind with the need to preserve the environment.
The urgency of his mission has driven Kiser to lead PSI in the development of groundbreaking energy efficiency concepts and patented technology that is dramatically
slashing energy costs and shrinking carbon footprints for all types of businesses and communities. He is best known for his evocative Kiser Quotient that stipulates that Energy needed should be equal to or greater than energy purchased.
Jerry Kelley
Administrator
Jerry is Administrator and Manager of Solar Solutions by PSI and the LED Lighting Division of PSI. His contributions include site assessments and system design, equipment recommendations, and material procurement.
In addition to this he is responsible for controls/panel shop as well as all research and development projects, being hands-on in this area of the operation.
Kim Henderson
Sales and Marketing
Kim is involved in marketing and sales for Solar Solutions by PSI. She has her Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with a minor in Media Communications from Medaille College in Buffalo, NY.
Edward William Kiser, PE
Mechanical Engineer
Ed received his Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan - College of Engineering before working with Rolls Royce Allison Gas Turbines as a Performance Analyst. There he ran turbine performance software models and developed turbine performance trend reports.
With this background, he is a tremendous asset to PSI, where he has worked for 11 years as a Mechanical Engineer developing computational models of facility energy systems to identify opportunities and quantify savings potentials with Energy Modeling. He is also one of our Concept Engineers, developing engineering designs to optimize performance. Ed is also a member of ASHRAE.
Russell Kiser
Director of Performance Contracting
As Director of Performance Contracting, Russ not only develops the performance contracts but also monitors and verifies that the installed system performances are being met or exceeded. With this, he also sends monthly performance reports to the customers.
He has been with PSI for 10 years, having previously worked at Raytheon Systems as a member of the Technical Staff Applied Design Analysis Department. Russ received his B.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University.
Steve Frederick
Manager of Technical Services
Steve Frederick is Manager of Technical Services at PSI where he has been employed for 15 years. Steve is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and has worked in a variety of electronics fields including marine, cellular, and business communications.
His duties at PSI take him to the front lines with our clients and include participating in engineering studies, design, start-up, customer training, and coordinating monitoring and verification (M&V) of energy savings projects.
Duane Cook
Duane has been a Mechanical Engineer at PSI for 23 years, ever since graduating with his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Toledo.
He is integral to the design, installation and equipment specifications, and piping and instrumentation diagram development for our projects.
He works on our Feasibility Studies and Preliminary Engineering, and is also a member of the Concept Design Team, evaluating each job for best energy efficiency practices.
Karin Babb
Software Engineer
Karin has been our Software Engineer for 15 years, responsible for daily monitoring and verification of the reliability, functionality, quality, and performance of plant-wide HVAC and process systems of our customers.
She also assists in the collection and analysis of energy performance data as well as participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of software and networks for the control of HVAC and process equipment.
She is also responsible for computer hardware repair, configuration, installation and maintenance, maintaining a dialog between clients, PSIs service technicians, and concept designers to identify and address problem areas.
She came to us with much experience in these fields through her pervious experience managing a local area school as well as working in technical support and computer operations at the Davis Besse Nuclear Power Station.
Joe Soldano
Director of Development
Since joining PSI in 2005, Joe Soldano has been responsible for positioning the company as a global leader of energy systems design and green technology. His role with PSI is to introduce and engage multiple market sectors in implementing energy efficient strategies and technologies to help them meet the most stringent goals in energy and environmental conservation, and improve energy system lifecycles.
Mr. Soldano is also taking a key role in PSIs new Solar Solutions initiative. This new initiative focuses on LED lighting technology and retrofits, solar photovoltaics, solar thermal and wind generation. Joe works with a variety of North American corporations to bridge innovative lighting solutions and PSIs energy efficient strategies and technologies.
Mr. Soldano graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
